Pussycat Dolls are Bad Example For Young Girls

posted on Mar 16, 2010

Kate Nash has claimed the Pussycat Dolls for being a bad example on younger girls with their sexy outfits and raunchy dances. Nash said, "Young kids should be taught about sex but they shouldn't be taught to be sexy. It's really distasteful. They're called Pussy. Cat. Dolls. You don't need to say anything else really. It's encouraging sexualisation and sexuality in young kids, and I think that's a bit weird."

The British singer even compares the group to the older girl groups like Spice Girls and Destiny's Child. "When I was young I was listening to the Spice Girls and Destiny's Child. I was singing Independent Woman and Survivor, and it was all about Girl Power and being with your friends. I don't think I was singing, 'Don't cha wish your girlfriend was hot like me?'
